PURPOSE: This study was designed to investigate the equivalency and factor structure of patients significant others' version pain catastrophizing scales in with chronic their spouses who are not pain. METHOD: Participants were 142 married couples which 1 spouse reported musculoskeletal Confirmatory analyses used compare 4 models catastrophizing, examine invariance PCS-Patient PCS-Significant other spouses. RESULTS: The results indicated that 2-factor oblique model provided an adequate fit data both Moreover, it found when gender controlled, hypothesized structures PCS-patient invariant.
